Stitch It has made a commitment to use 2% of our pre-tax profits towards our CSR initiatives each year. We don't do this because we have to, we do this because we know it is the right thing to do, especially when we know our efforts are helping others when they need it most.
Stitch It's CSR Initiatives:
1. Stitch It's Family
Partners in Profit:
All associates that have been with Stitch It for a minimum term are eligible to
receive a bonus, this bonus gets deposited directly to an RRSP fund to help
associates save for retirement.
Employee Benefits:
All associates that have been with the company for a minimum term are eligible
for health benefits which typically does not appear in our industry.
Secret Santa:
This Holiday Season, Stitch it will be giving 10 families from within our
company a helping hand around the holidays.
2. Stitch It's Communities
CNIB
(Canadian National Institute for the Blind)
For several years Stitch It has made generous donations to the CNIB. Our
Georgian Mall Team in BarrieOntario raises over $1,000 per year from
quilt raffle sales. Stitch It matches the money raised.
Halton Women's Shelter
In the Head Office community Stitch it donates to the Halton women's shelter
throughout the year and during the holiday sea.
3. Stitch It Abroad
Stitch It donates
to relief funds based on global needs, we understand that our global community is just as important as our local initiatives. When a disaster strikes Stitch It is more than willing to pledge our help in any way we can.
